Our Melamine Roll-Out Shelves
Melamine is an excellent product for the construction of cabinetry and drawer boxes. Melamine is a low maintenance material that is water, scratch and stain resistant. Melamine laminate is thermally bonded to a high density particle board core of varying thicknesses creating a durable and versatile building material. Our most economical roll-out shelf boxes are constructed with 100% industrial grade white melamine. They have ½” thick sides with a ¾” thick back and front. These are joined together with “Butt Joints” which are both pinned and screwed together for added strength. The standard box is 3” tall. A ¼” thick melamine bottom is then attached with 18 gauge brads. Finally a ¾” thick decorative melamine front is attached to the existing front of the box. This front is 4” tall and extended by 3/8” on each side to hide the slide rails and protect your cabinet doors from scratches. The decorative front is edge banded with heavy 3 mil. edge banding for a smooth rounded edge and extra durability. We offer ten different color choices for the front including black, white, almond and seven different simulated wood grain colors. These roll-outs come standard with full extension ball bearing slides rated at 100 pounds. Self close full extension ball bearing slides are available in 14”, 18”, 20” and 22” lengths for an additional $5.00 per pair. Soft close full extension ball bearing slides are also available for an additional $7.00 per pair. Soft close slides are available in lengths from 12” to 28” at 2” increments. All slides are side mount.
Our EZ DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Roll-Out Shelves
EZ DIY roll-out shelves are an easy and inexpensive option for the Do-It-Yourselfers out there. They can be installed in just minutes with nothing more than a screwdriver. The box is our standard melamine roll-out shelf described above with all the same features, options and quality. You also receive a mounting base constructed of melamine. Everything is pre-assembled and ready to install with just six screws (provided) in the pre-drilled holes. It’s so easy! Simply screw the mounting base to the bottom of an existing cabinet and slide the roll-out shelf back into the slides. That’s all there is to it! You can also mount them to an existing fixed or adjustable shelf so you can have as many roll-outs in a cabinet as space will allow. You have a choice of ten different colors for the front panel on your roll-out boxes including black, white, almond and seven different simulated wood grain colors. Unlike other similar products on the market, the EZ DIY roll-out shelf is manufactured in custom sizes to maximize the usable storage space in your cabinets. The EZ DIY roll-out comes standard with our 100 lb. rated full extension ball bearing slides. Self close full extension ball bearing slides are available for an additional $5.00 per pair. Our Dovetail Baltic Birch Roll-Out Shelves
Our dovetail wood roll-out boxes are made with 9-ply Baltic Birch. The front, sides and back are ½” thick. The standard box is 3” tall and has a plain front panel. A scoop can be added to the front panel for an additional $7.00 per box. We use dovetail joinery on these boxes to provide both strength and beauty. The bottoms are 3/8” thick 7-ply Baltic Birch. These roll-outs have a clear coat finish that protects the box from moisture and preserves the natural beauty of the wood. Our Baltic Birch roll-outs come standard with full extension ball bearing slides rated at 100 pounds. Self close full extension ball bearing slides are available for an additional $5.00 per pair. Soft close full extension ball bearing slides are also available for an additional $7.00 per pair.
Nova Pro Roll-Out Shelves
The new Nova Pro Roll-Out system by Grass is in a league all its own. In EZ Roll-Out Solutions opinion these are the best of the best. Start with a 5/8” thick melamine back and bottom. Add elegantly contoured metal front and side panels. Finish these panels in a two-step process consisting of a color basecoat (Metallic or Champagne) combined with a fingerprint resistant gloss topcoat. Then take the standard 3” tall box and offer the additional option of elevated side rails and adjustable divider rails. Now you’ve got a roll-out box unlike anything else on the market. So how do you top that? Well the folks at Grass added the exclusive rack-and-pinion telescoping full extension slide mechanism. It rolls on gears - not ball bearings, and it’s so smooth that the roll-out box feels like it is floating on air. Are we done yet? No way!
